1. What information do we collect?
You provide the following directly:
- Name (personal name or company name)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Login password
Information collected automatically while you use the service:
- IP address, device, browser type
- Login date and time
- Which pages and features you use
- Subscription and payment history
💳 Payment data: Real card numbers and CVV codes never reach us. We only store the token (a one-time cipher) returned by HiPay. This is compliant with the international PCI DSS standard.
2. Why do we collect data?
- To manage your account, plan and free trial
- To deliver core services such as stock analysis, the Excel add-in and the API
- To send payment receipts and trial-expiry notices
- To alert you when you sign in from a new device (security)
- To improve the service (analyse what works and what doesn't)
- To keep records required by law (tax, payment history)
3. How do we protect data?
- All internet traffic is HTTPS-encrypted
- Passwords are stored using one-way encryption (cannot be reversed)
- Weak passwords (leaked across other sites) are not allowed
- Login tokens expire automatically after 7 days
- Real card numbers stay with HiPay, not on our servers
- You receive an email when sign-in happens from a new IP or device
Your data is hosted in Microsoft Azure's East Asia region.
4. Who do we share data with?
We do not sell data to third parties. We share only the minimum necessary with these service providers:
- HiPay — card payment processing (card number)
- Microsoft Azure — server and database hosting
- Resend — transactional email (verification, receipts)
We may disclose information to authorised bodies when required by law (e.g. a court order).
5. Your rights
- View, edit: Edit your data in Account
- Delete: Use Settings → Danger zone → Delete account to delete yourself directly. For remote help write to hello@metricon.mn. Personal data (name, phone, devices) is removed immediately; the email is retained
- Remove cards: Remove cards any time from Payment cards
- Export: You may request a complete copy of your data
- Marketing opt-out: Use the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of marketing emails
6. Cookies and localStorage
We store small data (login token, plan name) in the browser's localStorage to keep you signed in. It stays only on your device and is not shared with third parties.
When you use the Excel Add-in, the API key is stored in Office's secure storage.
7. Data retention
- Account data — for the lifetime of your active account
- Payment history — 5 years (legal requirement)
- If your account is deleted — personal data (name, phone, devices) is removed immediately. The email is retained indefinitely for re-registration and trial-abuse checks
8. Policy changes
For material changes we will email you. Continued use after the notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
